During postwar Japan, Panasonic was among the many Japanese companies to take hold of a traditions where personnel would be part of a company from the " Cradle to the Grave”. Giving employees a safe and secure career would drive loyalty and pride together with the overall staff, and the result would drive profit. This approach worked well with the postwar period, as many Western people were looking for stability. As the world started to change, and competition was getting tougher across the globe, Japan started to go through some challenging economic instances, including Panasonic. The generation born following 1964 would not have the same perspective as performed their father and mother. With the changes in the global current market and american ideologies, the generation born after 1964 didn't feel that companies would not have the way to live up to their particular end in the bargain. Panasonic was one of many last big corporations to travel from the " Cradle towards the Grave” strategy and presented their performs options.
